The Primary Students’ Understanding of Scientific Models through Epistemological and Ontological Perspective

Achieving the targets of science education mostly depends on true understanding fundamentals where and scientific efforts are embedded through realist ontology epistemology that is based on. Models have a special place in revealing to understand nature status knowledge. By considering this function models, research puts forward views primary students models. The participants qualitative survey twenty-eight 7th graders school Izmir, Turkey. given questionnaire worksheet, which were developed by researchers, addressing both epistemological ontological character results showed generally moderate models perceptual ordinary reality.
